I had the opportunity to shoot my last wedding of 2008 with Kelly & Austin. They are the SWEETEST and most in LOVE couple!!! Kelly was so calm during the day... even when the day started out with NO electricity at the venue. We did leave the venue to go across town to Kelly's work, which DID have electricity so that the hairdresser could work his magic. On the way there, we saw a girl with blood gushing out her neck! Once again, Kelly never got frantic, but stayed so calm and relaxed... such a WONDERFUL bride! There were so many laughs during the day, everything went perfect, especially during Kelly & Austin's first meeting before the ceremony. There were some tears and lots of loving smiles and touches. This is truly one of the most genuine and sweetest couples I have had the opportunity to work with . Thank You Kelly & Austin for having me as your photographer... I enjoyed every minute.... and Kelly... I still kind of miss ya :)

Here are only SOME of my favorites. I had so many... you can catch more on the homepage slideshow of the site.
Oh... and sometime throughout the day, there was a conversation about how Kelly always found the most inappropriate times to laugh. Now, I've had moments like this before too... when you know you're not supposed to laugh, but that makes you laugh even harder and you can't stop.... Kelly's thing was at church... she said that there were several times that Austin made her laugh so hard, that she would have to get up and walk out of the service until she stopped.... Well... here's an example of that :) Kelly got tickled during her vowels... they speak for themself.... I just love these shots!

The bridal show was a COMPLETE success yesterday! It was by far the busiest that I have attended!!!

I just wanted to thank all the brides that came to meet with me yesterday. It's nice to match a face to the calls and emails.

If you weren't able to catch me at yesterday's show, I will be attending the Bridal Event in Corbin, KY on February 8, 2009, and of course at the Lexington Bridal Show's September 2009 event as well!

On a side note, I am almost booked for the 2009 wedding season. I am planning on taking three more weddings and only in the later months. Please inquire if you are wanting to book your wedding in late 2009, as these will be the last weddings I book for this year.

2010 weddings are now being booked and I noticed that there are several inquiries for the same dates!!! If you talked with me yesterday, please be sure to get those contracts signed and returned. This next month will be full of new wedding bookings and I can't wait to hear from you and all your wedding details!

THANK YOU TO ALL MY CLIENTS! I look forward to capturing every moment!

I just wanted to take a quick moment and share some images of my BEAUTIFUL cousin who passed away on January 2, 2009. For those of you who don't know Miss Brooklyn, she was diagnosed with leukemia when she was only three years of age. Tonight was her visitation service and seeing her mother literally BROKE my heart.

Brooklyn had an infectious smile, you wanted to be around her, you wanted to hear her laugh, you wanted her to be HEALED. God gave her the healing that no doctor or no medicine could. I hate every tear that her family has to cry, my heart breaks thinking of the pain that a mother has to endure, especially Brooklyn's mother. Tonya is one of my closest cousins and seeing her hurt because her daughter hurt is unexplainable. My heart and prayers are ALWAYS with you and your family. I love you all deeply and I will ALWAYS ALWAYS LOVE and MISS Brooklyn everyday. Please keep these families in your prayers, in your thoughts, and in your hearts.
