Elle Photography Updates!
I went and visited the new studio today.... I can't explain how excited I am about it! The drywall is now complete and painting is starting sometime next week. I am truly hoping it will be finished mid-March... keep your fingers crossed for me because I already have sessions scheduled and I just HAVE to shoot in my new space!
And.... along with the new studio.... I will be getting a new website!!! Totally excited about that too!!! There are some features that my current website is lacking and it drives me insane. I do love my site and all it's colors.... but it's time for a facelift. I hope to have that launched within the next two weeks. Keep your fingers crossed on that as well :)
Also, I have had several people inquire about pricing at the new studio. There will be some MINOR changes to the pricing guide. However, if you already have your appointment scheduled with me, you will receive the current pricing. If you schedule an appointment AFTER I have moved into the new studio, the new pricing will be applied. Please remember, this will be a MINOR price change.
I wanted to let everyone see my little Carter's birthday invite. I tried several different options, but I ended up loving this one. We have decided to go along with the monkey theme... so he of course had to have monkey invites!!! Enjoy!!!

Finally!!!

After months of looking and searching, we finally found the perfect building to put the studio in!!!! It is right off of exit 76 in Berea, located right next to Merle Norman and and across the road from a BEAUTIFUL salon. I am so excited about this HUGE step for my business. I get to move everything to an actual building that is designed by ME! My home is going to be just that... my home... and my studio is going to be just that, my studio! It got to be so hard (and cramped) to have the photography setup in the house.

As of yesterday, the building was completely empty with only a couple of studs. Today we went and they had everything framed up! The gallery... the shooting room... the bathroom... the storage room.... everything!!! It was so fantastic to see everyone in there working their hardest and getting this completed for me.

I met with the electrician and the painter today and got everything sorted out. I love my studio colors: lilac and stone gray with a touch of damask patterns throughout! Drywall is set to be put up on Wednesday... we hope to have everything up and ready for an open house mid-March... keep those fingers crossed and stay tuned for the actual Open House Day!!!!

Time to blog!

So much has went on since the last post, that I just don't even know where to start. These last couple of weeks have been filled with sick boys, doctor appointments, sick boys, doctor appointments, sick boys.... Literally, the boys have been sick off and on for three weeks. We had four doctor's appointments in two weeks... and still one more to go tomorrow! I think they are finally getting better. Lane had things the worst. He even developed this awful AWFUL rash all over his body. He seriously looked like a burn victim. I took pictures, but I can't stand to look at them he looked so bad. Thank God that the rash is finally going away and he is just pinky-red. Hopefully the weeks to come are going to better for them. Carter's birthday is coming up and I've got to start planning! He will be the big 1! I'm thinking a monkey theme.... we'll see....

Now, on to some images! Let me introduce you to Nina and Jeremy! I have the privelage of shooting their wedding next Saturday. For their engagements, shot at Raven Run, we had the funniest time. We literally got lost in the woods. It was freezing cold and I honestly didn't think that we could find our way back out of the woods without having to get someone to come get us on a Ranger. BUT, we finally did make it back and it was so pleasing to see the path that we first started on, I must say. I hope that Nina and Jeremy's wedding doesn't involve hiking :)

I think we had a fun time and I can't wait until Saturday, Nina is just going to be beautiful!

Check out her rock!!!
